More Chihuahua lovers… Kayla Graves and her 6-week-old Chihuahua puppy, Lil' Man, came to Bay Animal Clinic with Kayla’s grandmother Linda Pagano and her Chihuahua, Toodle Dou.  Lil’ Man is in today for his initial check-up and shots.   He is already showing some spunk, but, at the same time, he does express the need to bond with his owner.  Seven-year-old Toodle Dou is here for a nail trim, and can be very protective of his owner.  Handle with care!   This grandmother/granddaughter team are relatively new clients to Bay Animal Clinic.  Mrs. Pagano is retired from the construction business.

Pictured here is Rebel, a 15-year old Schipperke mix, with his owners Elizabeth Holman and her children Houston and Angele.  The Schipperke was originally bred in Flanders as a boatman's dog to guard the boats.  They were also traditionally considered a shoemaker's guard dog.  They are friendly, but protective of their environment.  In his retirement years, Rebel likes to walk outside and watch cars pass.  He also can be seen many times enjoying riding on a Polaris Ranger ATV with his owners, entertaining onlookers.  The Holmans are the owners of Ranchland Tractor and ATV in Saucier, Mississippi.

No one says “¡OLÉ!” better than Julio, the new 6-week-old chihuahua puppy of proud owners Kylie (4) and her little brother Xavier (2).   Weighing in at only 1.6 pounds, Julio will need all their attention plus that of their mother, Brittany Watson, to grow up to be a good friend and pet.  Brittany is the granddaughter of a long-time patron of Bay Animal Clinic, Geraldine Watson, who has owned several chihuahuas in the past, so Julio’s owners have lots of good examples and experience on which to rely for bringing up Julio right – in addition to Dr. Mahler’s help.

Pictured is Flash, a 10-year-old Basset Hound, with his owner, August Stierwald.  Flash is a good representative of his breed, being generally very relaxed.  Mr. Stierwald is a lifelong client of Bay Animal Clinic.  His grandparents were some of Dr. Mahler's original clients and were even patrons of Bay Animal Clinic well before Dr. Mahler's arrival.    August is a nurse and is employed by the Biloxi Regional Hospital System.
