On a recent visit to Bay Saint Louis from her home in Henderson, Kentucky, Miss Hannah Beth May, Dr. Mahler's oldest granddaughter, was able to spend a morning helping at the clinic, and, in the process, getting a good feel for veterinary medicine.  Hannah enjoyed seeing and petting several animals, as well as learning how to assist with keeping animals calm.  She even got to experience aspects of cleaning in the clinic.  She is 8 years old, about the age her mother, Sarah Mahler May, began to be taken seriously as a bonafide employee of Bay Animal Clinic.
